Lunar New Year is this Saturday the 25th of January. This New Year marks not only the beginning of a new zodiac cycle but also the beginning of a new 12-year cycle in Chinese astrology. It’s an auspicious time to start new project, set new goals, and think about big picture dreams in your personal and professional life. Since this is the beginning of a new 12-years cycle, the steps that we take now will build and grow over the next 12 years. This is a time for fresh hope and new beginnings.

We are entering into the year of the White Metal Yang Rat. The rat is an industrial sign in the Chinese zodiac with the ability to move past obstacles to meet goals. This helps us not only dream about our goals but also gives us the energy to make them happen. Rats are also communal by nature and take care of those in their community when sick, making this a wonderful time to deepen our relationships and sense of community. The quality of the metal element of this year helps us establish healthy boundaries and the ability to maintain focus on the things that matter to us most. May this year be filled with optimism, success, companionship and good health for you and yours!

Clinic Announcements

This year is an exciting transitional year at Dynamic Acupuncture. Tara moved her practice to NE Alberta Street and will be fully taking over as the new clinic owner in July 2020. There will be updates to the clinic space including new signage on the front windows in the coming months. Tara is also currently working on gathering a wonderful and skilled team of practitioners and will be providing updates as new providers join the clinic. Come summer 2020 there will be new acupuncturists and massage therapists joining the team.

Mallory Harman will be leaving Dynamic Acupuncture in February to travel and practice acupuncture internationally. She is a gifted practitioner and we wish her all the best in her next steps! We are currently in the process of bringing on a new acupuncturist when Mallory leaves who will be able to provide continuity of care for Mallory’s patients, with the plan to offer both evening and weekend appointments. Another newsletter will share details about the new provider once things are finalized.

We really appreciate and are deeply grateful for your continued support through all these transitions and changes! We are excited to see how this year unfolds with new beginnings and new possibilities!
